Come right in, Fearless Reader!
There's room for all in my world. Maybe because so many inhabitants of it keep getting killed off. Regardless, I'm glad you're here!

Not everything I tell you happens in Wren Lake, but it does tend to pop up here and there. Blind people and Guide Dogs tend to feature in my stories, as well. In real life, visually impaired people only make up about 3% of the population. In my writing, the percentage may be quite a bit higher. That's okay. They're usually pretty cool people. I urge you to get to know one. Speaking for myself, here... just be aware that I'm constantly trying to orient myself, so being friendly isn't always my top priority. I apologize. I just don't like being lost.

I will not always write about service dogs leading blind folks in a small town in the Pacific NW, I assure you. But don't be surprised if you encounter one - or many - in my first book of short stories. Hey! What a great time for a plug! Holes In The Somewhere is currently in production, and will be available early in 2026.
